Cultur Yucatan

El Corchito

At this reserve, you can enjoy crystal-clear waters, nature trails, and mangroves.

To enter the reserve, visitors must board a boat at the tourist parador to cross through beautiful mangroves that shelter this wonderful place, where you can enjoy cenotes and two water springs (ojos de agua) perfect for a refreshing swim.

Along its trails and through the mangroves, you can observe diverse wildlife, including fish, raccoons, and coatis. Much of the flora consists of cork trees, which give the site its name.
