Nights of Kukulkan, in Chichen, opens again to the public this Friday 14
Mérida, Yucatán, April 12, 2023. After that, since January 1, for circumstantial reasons was closed to the public the audio-luminous show or video mapping "Nights of Kukulkan", in Chichén Itzá, it will again be offered from this Friday 14.
Cultur and the National Institute of Archaeology and History, agreed that, for now, it will only be offered from Friday to Sunday, this weekend and the next, and that after "it will be gradually increased."
When the service is regularized, from April 10 to June 16 and from September 4 to November 17 the show will be from Wednesday to Sunday.
This cultural event of Chichén will continue in its usual schedules, considering that the time zone had no change: the tour starts at 7 pm, which includes The Ball Court, the structures Tzompantli, Aguilas and Jaguar, Venus, Los Guerreros and Las Mil Columnas.
Throughout this tour, visitors will have a charming experience because throughout the way they listen to an audio with explanations about each structure that are illuminated in different colors, generating a magical atmosphere.
At 8 pm, tourists take their places in the chairs that are installed in front of the Castle of Chichén Itzá to watch the Video Mapping.
