X'kekén tourist center is located in the community of Dzitnup, in the municipality of Valladolid, 172 kilometers from Mérida.
In this park you will find two of the most beautiful underground cenotes in Yucatan, with crystalline turquoise blue water, X'kekén and Samulá. They are a reference point of the underground beauty of the región, in the east part of the state, which in the past functioned more as a place of refuge.
X'kekén, one of the most famous cenotes in Yucatan, accessed by a stone stairway, is 10 meters Deep. Here you will find fish including catfish and colored guppies.

Samulá, one of the most beautiful cenotes, is a cavern which can be admired from above. It extends 22 meters and has a small island inhabited by beautiful swallows.
There are hammocks for resting and stones filled with wáter, which attract various bird species who percho n them while they take a drink.
The site also has X'kuus restaurant, where you can enjoy Yucatecan food.
